To hire a van, you will need to provide the following:

• A valid UK driving license
• A utility bill (dated within the last three months) as proof of address
• A passport (for identification purposes)
• A driving licence check code, which can be retrieved from GOV.UK
• Alternatively, your National Insurance number may be required

The minimum age requirement for all van hires is 25 years old.

In the event of damage, theft, or a third-party claim made against our insurance policy, the standard insurance excess is £1,250. However, if you choose to take out our insurance excess waiver at £15 per day, the excess is reduced to £250.

The hirer remains responsible for:

• Punctures and negligent damage, including kerbed wheels or tyres, upholstery damage, cigarette burns, and damage to aerials and mirrors.
• Mechanical repairs caused by failure to respond to warning lights and gauges.
• Damage to any part of the vehicle above windscreen height.

Additionally, if the vehicle is taken to British Islands by sea, the hirer is liable for any recovery costs in the event of a breakdown or accident.
